Overview:
Set out with a professional guide and your own Tuk-tuk driver to find the best of Xi ‘an cuisine. Explore the hidden streets and quaint alleys within the city walls of Xi ‘an, where you can visit the most popular local restaurants. Experience the cuisine and culture of Xi ‘an by eating at places frequented by locals, and provide free food and drinks (including beer) during the trip. Try Xi ‘an’s only craft beer brewed when you stop by a local brewery.

Itinerary:
You’ll meet at a central location that’s easy to find, then take a Tuk-tuk ride inside the City Wall through narrow streets and alleys to find the city’s best food. We’ll take you where the locals go. You’ll walk a lot of places, off the beaten path, to family-run restaurants that you (and other tourists) can’t find on your own. Between bites, you can chat about the city with your English-speaking guide, while drinking unlimited cold beer and soda on the way.
While visiting our 4-5 food stations, you will learn about families who have been making their specialties for generations. You’ll see how your food is prepared and learn what makes it special to Xi ‘an locals. Whether it’s sitting next to an elderly man in a quaint Muslim Quarter alley, barbecuing meat over a charcoal fire or watching handmade ramen noodles, there’s something for everyone to try. The tour will end at Xi ‘an’s only local brewery, where you can tour the facilities and sample the beer before we serve you a pint of your choice.
