Itinerary:

Begin your private tour with hotel pickup in central Beijing. Then, set off by private vehicle with your guide and a driver.

Stop first at Tiananmen Square, considered the heart of Beijing. Marvel at the square, the world’s largest public space, and take in the sights around it, including the National Museum of China, and Monument to the People’s Heroes. Capture photos of the sights, and then check out the Tiananmen Rostrum fronted by the famous portrait of Chairman Mao.

Next, head inside the magnificent Forbidden City, the world’s largest imperial palace, and the seat of 24 Chinese emperors from the 14th to the 20th centuries. Take a walking tour of the main halls and courtyards as you learn about the emperors who lived and ruled from this secret world.

Afterward, take your pick from the Chinese restaurants recommended by your guide, and relax over lunch, before paying a visit to the idyllic Summer Palace, the summer retreat of China’s imperial families.

Stroll around the exquisite lakes, pavilions, bridges, and gardens as you learn how the park was used as a playground and office by the emperors from 1750 on. Your tour then finishes with a hotel drop-off.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)

After picking you up from your centrally located hotel in Beijing around 8:30am, you will start your day trip by visiting Tian’anmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Explore the sites around the square with opportunities to take some amazing pictures.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

Then you will spend a couple of hours wandering around the magnificent Forbidden City which is an amazing example of Imperial architecture, and you will learn about the history and stories of the palace. Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, and Gu Gong in Chinese, lies at the city center of Beijing, and once served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 – 1911).

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

14:00 Head to Summer Palace and visit the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China. It greatly influences Chinese horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests, which also has long been recognized as ‘The Museum of Royal Gardens’. It ranked amongst the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1998. 16:00 Drive back to your hotel.
