Itinerary:
Your half – day tour begins with a trip to Mount Fubo. Famous for its natural scenery and historical art, Mount Fubo stands by the Li River and rises in the surrounding landscape. Its peak is 203 feet (62 meters) high and offers panoramic views of the countryside. Your guide takes you into the Huizhu Cave and the Thousand Buddhas Cave to see etchings of Buddha statues from the Song and Tang Dynasties (618-1279). Next, visit the Reed Flute Cave, a natural limestone cave estimated to be 180 million years old. Stroll into the cave illuminated by colorful lights and admire the interior’s stalactites, stalagmites and otherworldly rock formations. Exit the cave, stop at a pearl market, and visit the heart of Guilin’s riverside park: Elephant Hill, on the west bank of the Li River. It is said that from this peak, people can see the city, Li River and the surrounding scenery. Before your tour ends, alight at the hotel and enjoy an energetic walk to the top of the hill.
