Arrive in Chengdu. The tour guide will pick you up in the airport or railway station and escort you to the hotel. You have free time to relax or explore this leisurely city.

Starting from Chengdu, you will drive along the most beautiful section of the longest national highway in China. Enter the “paradise of photographers” — Xinduqiao —after crossing the pass of the Zheduo Mountains.

Continue to Daocheng via Litang. Enjoy the grassland scenery on Kazila Mountain. Walk around the sacred Daocheng Tibetan pagodas.  Visit Mount Haizi Scenic Area when you get close to Daocheng. Be impressed by the ancient glacier remains and the wild atmosphere.

Spend the whole day taking the long-route tour in Yading Nature Reserve including Chonggu Monastery, the snow-capped mountains of Jambeyang and Chanadorje, Luorong cattle farm, Wuse(‘Five Color’) Lake, and the Niunai (‘Milk’) Lakes. Today you will hike around 6-7 hours.(The national park area is vast so guide might change the visiting sights depending on the actual situation)

Accomodation: Overnight in Daocheng

Take the short-route tour in Yading Nature Reserve in the afternoon. Be fascinated by the color of Pearl Lake and walk through the yellow forest to Chenrezig Mountain. Today you will hike around 3-4 hours. Then transfer to Daocheng in the afternoon. (The national park area is vast so guide might change the visiting sights depending on the actual situation)

Atttractions: Yajiang River, Qianhu Tibetan Villages

Accomodation: Overnight in Litang

Travel back down to Litang. Enjoy the scenery which you will never get tired of gazing at. You can stop wherever you like for photos. You can also see the Yajiang River on the way. After that, you will go to the Qianhu Tibetan Villages consisting of 13 villages with 4000 tibetan dwellings.

Visit a Tibetan Village. Listen to the chant of Monks in peaceful Litang Monastery and make a wish in this “highest city”. Enjoy the nice view of Litang Grassland. Transfer to Kangding in the afternoon.

Transfer back to Chengdu from Kangding. Be amazed by the Kading Bridge when you pass through Kangding County.
