Three significant Chinese cities, Shanghai, Xi’an and Beijing, will be yours to discover on eight-long journey. You will experience the modern style of Shanghai through the Bund and other attractions, and the ancient style of Xi’an through the Terra Cotta Warriors and other landscapes; You will also appreciate the grandeur of Beijing. Day 1Shanghai Arrival

Welcome to Shanghai! After retrieving your luggage, you can take your own cab or airport shuttle to the hotel we have booked for you. Our guide will help with check in. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city on your own. Shanghai is a cosmopolitan city with easy access to all destinations.

 

Day 2Shanghai

Attractions: Yu Garden, The Bund, Nanjing Road, People’s Square, Shanghai Museum, French Concession, Tianzifang

Hotel: Overnight in Shanghai

This morning we will start from visiting Yu Garden. A shining star among all the ancient Chinese gardens in Jiangnan.

Afterwards, you can then wonder leisurely stroll along Nanjing Road, the No.1 shopping street in Shanghai. You will stroll along the Bund, seeing and feeling the perfect fusion of Chinese and Western cultures. Then, you will visit Shanghai Museum, one of the Four Best Museums in China. a selection of over 112,000 relics of Chinese culture from the Paleolithic to modern times.

Then we will stroll through the streets of the French Concession and explore the fashionable charm of Tianzifang.

 

 

Day 3Shanghai-Xi'an

Attractions: The Small Goose Pagoda, Xi’an Museum, Xi’an City Wall

Hotel: Overnight in Xi’an

Xi’an is a famous ancient capital in China. Upon arrival, we will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi’an Museum in turn. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is a perfect example of the multi eaved square brick pagoda in ancient China. The Xi’an Museum has a collection of up to 130000 pieces. Afterwards, we will visit the Xi’an City Wall. Walking on the city wall, you can see the panoramic view of Xi’an.

 

 

 

Day 4Xi'an

Attractions: Terracotta Warriors, Bell and Drum Tower Square, The Great Mosque, The Xi’an Muslim Gathering Area

Drive to discover one of the greatest man-made wonders in the world – the Terracotta Warriors, built by the first emperor of China Qin Shihuang to protect him in his afterlife. visit the Bell and Drum Tower Square, the Great Mosque, and the Xi’an Muslim Gathering Area. The Great Mosque is the most famous and popular place among them.

 

Day 5Xi'an-Beijing

Attractions: Summer Palace

After arriving in Beijing by train, we will visit the best preserved and most complete royal garden —— the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace is based on the basic framework of Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain, integrating politics, economy, spirit, and entertainment into the lake and mountain scenery.

Day 6Beijing

Attractions: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City

Start to explore the historical face of Beijing with a brief visit to Tiananmen Square, now the largest city plaza in the world. Stepping into the Tiananmen, you will see one of the world’s five most important palaces – the Forbidden City, a huge palace complex of more than 9,000 rooms where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties lived.

Day 7Beijing

Attractions: Mutianyu Great Wall, Sacred Way, Bird’s Nest, Water Cube

Witness one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Great Wall. Visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, a less crowded yet well-preserved segment of the Great Wall built in the Ming Dynasty. It will more than live up to all of your expectations! Continue your trip to Sacred Way, a 7-kilometer-long passage leading to the Imperial Tombs of 13 Emperors of Ming Dynasty. Then drive back to Beijing city and take a short stop at the Beijing Olympic Village to view its famous Bird’s Nest and Water Cube from the outside.
