Welcome to Guiyang, the beautiful “City of Forest” and provincial capital of Guizhou! Upon your arrival, your local guide and driver will meet you at the arrival hall in the airport / train station and escort you to your hotel in Guiyang downtown. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, we will leave for Huangguoshu Waterfall National Park, about 135 km from Guiyang City. The park centers at Huangguoshu Waterfall, which is 77.8 m (255 ft) high and 101 m (331 ft) wide) and is scattered with 18 waterfalls of varied sizes, some precipitous and majestic, others picturesque and fantastic.
Upon arrival, we will first explore Dupotang, known as the widest of the waterfalls in the park. Lunch is served at the hotel around Huangguoshu.
In the afternoon, we will explore the less visited Tianxingqiao Scenic Area. With large caves, ancient trees, serene ponds, stone formations and star-studded waterfalls.Then we will go to the Huangguoshu waterfall and its water curtain cave in back. After tour, be escorted to hotel in Guiyang

After breakfast, we’ll tour around the Qingyan Ancient Town. The town, established in 1378, was historically a key military fortress and trade hub. Qingyan in Chinese refers to green stones, because almost everything in the town was built of stones. Walking in the town, you will discover various monasteries, temples, caves, courtyards and palaces, with stone-paved streets and lanes intertwined with each other.
In the afternoon, we’ll depart for Libo County situated 150 km southeast of Qingyan Ancient Town.

In the morning, we will explore the Seven Small Arches Scenic Area. It is one of the most enchanting landscapes of the Karst topography.
In summer, rivers and lakes in the scenic area are dyed blue and green. The 68-level Xiangshui River waterfall and The Laya Waterfall are cascading down like silver chains. Even if only the sound of water is heard, together with the surrounding lush mountains will also make you wonder whether you are entering paradise.
Next we drive 2.5 hours to Kaili City and visit the Kaili Ethnographic Museum. There you will see traditional costumes, architecture, daily utensils of the Miao and Dong people.

In the morning drive to visit Matang Village, situated about 21 km north of Kaili City, home to a subgroup of people who call themselves“Gejia”, an ethnic minority to be recognized. Far from the crowd, the people living here do not have their own character, but still maintain traditional language, costumes, totems and customs. They are skilled in weaving, and embroidery, especially in batik (a kind of dyed wax painting). We will experience batik craft on the stage.
In the afternoon, we’ll get to Kongbai Miao Village in 1.5 hours, also known as “The Last Silversmith Miao Village”. We will visit a local silver workshop there, witness the processing of silver work and learn to make exquisite silver jewelry.

After breakfast, drive 1.5 hours to Langde Miao Village, famous for Miao embroidery culture. Upon arrival, we will experience the welcome ceremony, appreciate traditional music and dance performances, visit a farmer’s house, and sample an authentic home-cooked lunch.
In the afternoon, we will go with the host to catch fish, hike to the mountain to pick wild vegetables, and cook for the long table banquet. Enjoy your time chatting and drinking with the locals..Then drive back to Kaili City overnight.
