Day 1Hong Kong arrival

Welcome to Hong Kong! Our local guide is ready to pick you up at the arrival hall of the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After retrieving your luggage, you will find your local English speaking guide waiting for you in the Arrival Hall of the airport, holding a welcome sign with your name on it. After a warm greeting, you will be taken to the hotel in a comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle and your guide will help you with the check-in.

Day 2Hong Kong - Shanghai

Attractions: Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Stanley Market

This morning, our local guide and driver is ready to pick you up at your hotel or a designated location (such as the airport, train station or subway station). The magical journey at Hong Kong has begun. Today’s half-day tour of Hong Kong starts at the Victoria Peak. The tram will take you to the highest peak in Hong Kong. You can also climb the observation deck for a panoramic view of Hong Kong.

Then go to Repulse Bay. Repulse Bay is known as the “Hawaii of the East”. After relaxing in Repulse Bay, head to Stanley Market. Browse fine little items in a variety of small shops, it’s a great place to get away from the crowds and enjoy some time alone.
In the afternoon, your guide will accompany you to the airport for your flight to Shanghai (about
2.5 hours). Your guide will pick you up at the airport and then go to your hotel downtown help you to
check in.

Day 3Shanghaii

Attractions: Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Shanghai World Financial Center, Nanjing Road, Bund

Today you have a whole day to learn about the history of Shanghai. Your first stop is the Shanghai Museum, one of the four major museums in China. a selection of over 112,000 relics of Chinese culture from the Paleolithic to modern times. For your convience,we will prepare an audio explanatory device to help you understand the story of each of the museum’s exhibits in detail. Then you will visit Yu Garden, still a prominent presence among the countless gardens south of
the river. Next, you’ll head to the Shanghai World Financial Center, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the city’s modern face from 100 stories up. Later, you will be transferred to another famous Shanghai landmark, Nanjing Pedestrian Road, a bustling street for walking, you can enjoy very lively and full of modern atmosphere here. Finally, you’ll stop at the Bund, which began as a simple waterway for transporting goods but has now become one of Shanghai’s most bustling and important landmarks.

Day 4Shanghai-Beijing

Attractions: Jade Buddha Temple, Tianzifang

In the morning, your guide and driver is ready to pick you up at your hotel and take you to the Jade
Buddha Temple, In this noisy city, it has a unique quiet atmosphere, surrounded by modern neighborhoods and luxury homes.

Next, you’ll be transferred to Tianzifang, this tourist arts enclave was a traditional residential area in Shanghai’s French Concession

In the afternoon, your guide will accompany you to the airport for your flight to Beijing, the capital
of China! The highlight of this trip. Your local guide will meet you at the arrival hall of Beijing Airport and transfer you to your downtown hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. The rest of the day is at your disposal. If you want to explore the neighborhood on your own, ask your guide for some practical tips, and then you can explore this fancy city at your own pace.

Day 5Beijing

Attractions: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace

After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Walking into Tian
anmen Square, you will see one of the five palaces in the world — the Forbidden City, which is
a huge palace complex of more than 9,000 rooms where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived. After lunch, you will have a midday break, and then we will drive to the outskirts of Beijing and enjoy a visual feast at the Summer Palace, the largest and best preserved imperial garden in China. Take a walk among the ancient buildings, enjoy the blooming lotus flowers in Kunming Lake and the painted corridors. Spend a pleasant afternoon at the summer palace.

Day 6Beijing

Attractions: Mutianyu Great Wall, Ding Tomb, Bird’s Nest, Water Cube

Hotel: Overnight in Beijing

After breakfast, head to Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a
relatively well-preserved and less visited section of the Ming Wall. You’ll take a cable car to the
Great Wall, then hike to the best parts of Mutianyu and marvel at the amazing wisdom of the
ancient people. (Note: We suggest walk up and down if energy permits, by this way can you enjoy the best scenery of the Great Wall. But it takes about 40 minutes to climb the steps. Please tell your travel consultant what you like.)

After a short rest to the Ming emperor’s mausoleum – Ding Tomb. Your guide will introduce the feng shui of the mausoleum and take you to the underground palace for a closer look. Then drive back to Beijing and stop at the Olympic Village to admire the famous Bird’s Nest and
Water Cube from the outside.

Day 7Beijing-Departure

Attractions: Temple of Heaven, Hutongs

The first destination of today is the Temple of Heaven. Originally a place of worship for the ancient royal family, it has now become a place for local people to hold traditional activities and
entertainment, such as tai chi, dancing, kite flying, water calligraphy and so on. Then, back in
the city center, take a time-filled rickshaw ride to Beijing’s hutongs, alleys of varying widths
made up of courtyard homes. Walk through the different hutongs, feel the charm of Beijing’s
traditional architecture and historical changes, and visit the old Beijingers who live in the
hutongs. you can feeling the traditional sense of Beijing here.Your trip to China is coming to an end. We will drive you to the airport to your next destination or home.
