Day 1Shanghai Arrival

Welcome to Shanghai! you can take your own cab or airport shuttle to the hotel we have booked for you. Our guide will help with check in. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city on your own. Shanghai is a cosmopolitan city with easy access to all destinations.

 

Day 2Shanghai

Attractions: Shanghai Museum,Former French Concession, Shanghai World Financial Center, Nanjing Road, The Bund

You will visit Shanghai Museum, one of the Four Best Museums in China. a selection of over 112,000 relics of Chinese culture from the Paleolithic to modern times.

Then, take an interesting walking through the charming Former French Concession. Next you will enjoy a panoramic view of the modern face of Shanghai from the 100th floor (474m) of “the Eye of Shanghai” – Shanghai World Financial Center. Afterwards, you can then wonder leisurely stroll along Nanjing Road, the No.1 shopping street in Shanghai. You will stroll along the Bund, seeing and feeling the perfect fusion of Chinese and Western cultures. Tonight you can take a relaxing Huangpu River night as an optional activity.

 

 

Day 3Shanghai-Suzhou

Attractions: Tongli Water Town, Suzhou Museum

Drive to Tongli Water Town, where are famous for the traditional residences including gardens, houses and temples, built in the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty. And then, take a short visit to Suzhou Museum – the masterpiece of I.M. Pei.

 

Day 4Suzhou-Beijing

Attractions: Lingering Garden, Tiger Hill, Suzhou No.1 Silk Factory

Start today’s trip with an interesting visit to Lingering Garden, one of the Four Greatest Gardens in China as well as the perfect representative of traditional Suzhou Gardens. After that, you will go to explore the most historical site in Suzhou – Tiger Hill, where the most famous site is the Yunyan Pagoda which is an over-1000-year-old pagoda. Next, transfer to Suzhou No.1 Silk Factory where you could not only see how the silk is processed from worm to the final product, but also learn some history and culture of silk in China. After all sightseeing, catch a speed train to Beijing.

Day 5Beijing

Attractions: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace

Start to explore the historical face of Beijing with a brief visit to Tiananmen Square, now the largest city plaza in the world. Stepping into the Tiananmen, you will see one of the world’s five most important palaces – the Forbidden City, a huge palace complex of more than 9,000 rooms where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties lived. Drive to Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China.

 

 

Day 6Beijing

Attractions: Mutianyu Great Wall, Sacred Way, Bird’s Nest, Water Cube

Witness one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the Great Wall. Visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, a less crowded yet well-preserved segment of the Great Wall built in the Ming Dynasty. It will more than live up to all of your expectations! Continue your trip to Sacred Way, a 7-kilometer-long passage leading to the Imperial Tombs of 13 Emperors of Ming Dynasty. Then drive back to Beijing city and take a short stop at the Beijing Olympic Village to view its famous Bird’s Nest and Water Cube from the outside.

Day 7Beijing-Departure

Attractions: Temple of Heaven, Hutongs

Drive to the imperial site of the Temple of Heaven. Then experience the Beijing Hutongs – small alleys made by neighboring quadrangle dwellings. After Beijing tour, your tour is about to end.
