Today, you will leave Hong Kong for Guilin on your own. You can take a bullet train from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to Guilin West. Or, you can choose to take the 1-2 daily flights from Hong Kong International Airport to Guilin Liangjiang International Airport, which takes about 1.5 hours.

When you have arrived at Guilin Railway Station/Airport, you will be met by our local English-speaking guide and driver who will escort you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure, and you can get a great rest or explore the city, it is up to you. If you need any  assistance you can come to your guide. I’m sure they are willing to give you their help.

After breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby at the specified time. After that we will drive about 80 km and you will witness Longji Rice Terraces, which be known as one of the most beautiful rice terraces in China. Along the way there are several distinctive Zhuang and Yao villages, you will visit the special Huangluo Yao village, the first village in the world with long hair, where you can see women wearing red ethnic costumes with very long hair.

Afterwards, continue the drive to Ping An Village, a beautiful 600-year-old Zhuang village, and check in at a hotel located near the rice terraces. After a short rest, start to explore the amazing scenery. A half day detour, then back to Ping’an County for dinner and overnight,you can have a great rest and get prepare for next day’s trip.

After breakfast, we will be waiting for you at the hotel lobby at the agreed time. we have arrange a great location to watch the magnificent sunrise over the beautiful rice terraces. Next, you will enjoy an in-depth guided hike from Ping An to Zhongliu and Dazhai. It takes about 2 hours from Ping An to Zhongliu and 2 hours from Zhongliu to Dazhai. You will enjoy the most tingling views – glistening layers of waterlogged terraces stubbornly climbing up the hillside, bubbling streams, local farmers working in the fields, and pristine ethnic minoritizing villages …… Immersing yourself in the natural scenery.

The Jinking Terraces consist of five small villages of the Red Yao people: Dazhai Village at the foot of the mountain, Zhuangjie Village on the hillside, and Tiantou Village on the top of the mountain. The shape of Jinkeng Terraces is like a naturally formed pit. The Jinkeng Terraces have fewer commercial elements but majestic views, which is what makes them a popular place for hikers and photographers. Most of the gorgeous photos published of Longsheng Rice Terraces were taken from here. The site has three viewpoints that form a triangle. After the tour, we will return to Guilin for overnight stay.

As the Chinese textbook proclaims “Guilin’s landscape is the best in the world”, today you will start exploring this best landscape on an easy sightseeing cruise along the Li River from Mopanshan pier to Yangshuo town.

After a delightful cruise, which roughly take 4 hours, disembark in Yangshuo town and overnight at your hotel. After a short break, you will start exploring the ideal countryside scenery by taking the Ten Mile Gallery sightseeing bus from the Fengming Visitor Center, via Gongnong Bridge and Big Banyan Tree to Moon Hill, which lasts 1.5-2 hours. Throw yourself into the charming countryside scenery and relaxing atmosphere. If time and physical conditions allow, you can also climb up that mountain (takes about 30-50 minutes and thousands of steps) to see the larger Moon Cave up close and get a broader panoramic view of the karst wonders of Yangshuo town. Then, take the sightseeing bus back to Fengming and our driver will take you back. In the evening, You can have a drink at the bar, try the local cuisine or just experience the relaxed atmosphere at West Street.

This morning, after breakfast, start your impressive excursion to the best charming sightseeing and ideal countryside leisure in Yulong River. We have prepared a variety of ways for you to enjoy the fun and beauty, including biking, hiking, sightseeing bus, bamboo rafting and motorcycle. You can easily choose and combine your ideal way and part of Yulong River. Cycling: Route: Yangshuo – Jima – Jiuxian Village – Shuidi Pier – Gongnong Bridge – West Street; During the tour, visit a local family near the sunrise for a short break to see their living environment and the farming tools of the local farmers. Bamboo rafting (relaxing and fun & river sightseeing) – Experience the fun of classic bamboo rafting (Route A: Line A: Shuidi Pier – Gongnong Bridge 40-50 minutes; Line B: Jima Pier – Gongnong Bridge 1.5 hours) and see more peaceful scenery like traditional Chinese landscape ink painting works. Sightseeing Bus (the most comfortable way to relax & sightseeing on the road) – Sitting leisurely on the bus from Girma to Gongnong Bridge and enjoying the lovely countryside (about 0.5 hours). You can get on and off anywhere in between to explore more of the places you are interested in. After the tour, we return by bus to our hotel in Guilin.

After breakfast, our driver and guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby as agreed time, and they will take you to visit Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin landscape. Elephant Trunk Hill is a huge stone hill with a vivid shape, resembling an elephant that is drinking water,its name aslo come from its shape. Then, drive about 7 kilometers (about 20 minutes) to the next attraction – Ludi Cave, a majestic underground palace shining with different colors. The magical nature has gathered millions of years of natural efforts to form incredible stalactites, stalagmites, shields and stone waterfalls of different sizes and shapes. At the end of the tour, your Guilin vacation will come to an end and near the check-in time, our guide will take you to the airport and your tour will officially end.
