Day 1Arrival in Beijing & Pick-up

Attractions: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
This morning, your tour guide will pick up you at the hotel and take you to visit Tiananmen Square. You will see what the biggest urban city square in the world looks like.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
From Tiananmen Square, you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Here, you will not only learn how the emperor handled political affairs and lived their lives, but appreciate numerous ancient art treasures. At noon, an a la carte welcome lunch will be served at a superb local restaurant, where you can have a taste of authentic Chinese food.

Temple of Heaven
In the afternoon, you will see the Temple of Heaven with its unique architectures, where the emperors worshiped the heavens in hopes of good harvests.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)
Visit the Summer Palace – the largest existing imperial garden with a graceful landscape and magnificent constructions.

Day 2China Great Wall Tour

Attractions: Mutianyu Great Wall, Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

Hotel: Over night in Bejing

Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)
You will be picked up from hotel then hop into the air-conditioned vehicle drive to Ming Tombs(Changling), where the emperor Zhudi’s burial site. Enjoy delicious lunch at a local restaurant and learn the interesting jade culture at nearby gallery.

Mutianyu Great Wall
After that, head to head for Mutianyu Great Wall where it is less crowded and has better views than other sections of Great Wall. Take the advantage of optional cable car to enjoy the incredible views of the wall from the top. After hiking, enjoy cups of fragrant tea on the way back to downtown.

Olympic Park
Stop at the Olympic Park where you can take photos from outside of modern Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Enjoy famous Peking Roasted Duck once tried by many overseas VIP. Crispy skin and tender meat, what a delicious dinner tonight. At last, transfer back to hotel.

Day 3Beijing to Xi’an by Train

Attractions: Muslim Quarter, Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta)

Hotel: Overnight in Xi’an

Muslim Quarter
Pick you up from hotel at 7am and send you to Xian by high speed train. Takes about 5 hours and you have your lunch at your expense on the train. Upon arrival, the Xian tour guide and driver pick you up from the train station and send you back the hotel. You start your late afternoon trip from Muslim Street, this is a local life and food culture. You have the opportunity of trying your favorite food at your expense as your dinner.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta)
At last, Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda fountain Square, It is most beautiful time to enjoy the Big wild goose pagoda. There are lots live shows in this area. It is well known Tik Tok. Many talents Yong people gather here perform professionally with Erhu, guzheng and Tang Dynasty Dance. A feast of music in evening. at the end of the tour your tour guide will transfer you back to your hotel

Day 4Xi’an

Attractions: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang)

Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang)
Your friendly tour guide will meet you at 9:00am, then you will be transferred to Xi’an City Wall. Xi’an City Wall is the largest and best preserved city wall in China. It is 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) You can spend 20 minutes walk along the city wall enjoy the charming south gate or you can rent a bike ride for half hour on the city wall.

Qin Shi Huang Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses
Enjoy a pleasant lunch near the Terracotta Warriors. The Terracotta Army is considered to be the greatest terracotta army in history. There are 8 ancient wonders of the world. UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a funerary art that dates back more than 2,000 years. It will take you about two hours to visit here. After the tour, your Xi ‘an guide will drive you to Xi ‘an Xianyang Airport. Your Guilin driver will meet you at Guilin Liangjiang Airport and transport you to your lovely Guilin hotel. Guests book their own flights and hotels.

Day 5Xi’an - Shanghai by Train

Huangpu River
Pick you up from hotel in the morning and transfer to the railway station for a high-speed train to Shanghai. The journey takes around 6 hours. The driver and tour guide in Shanghai will pick you up from the railway station and sent you to hotel for checking in. After resting one hour and enjoy delicious local dinner, you embark on a boat cruising on the Huangpu River. Enjoy the cool breeze, watch the colorful display of lights along the riverbanks. Later, return to hotel and take a relaxing sleep.

Day 6Shanghai Departure

Attractions: Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road), Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu), Yu Garden (Yuyuan), The Bund (Wai Tan)

Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Yu Garden where you can see the classic Chinese architecture, pavilions, ponds etc. Take a leisurely walk in the charming garden and get some delicious street food or souvenirs at the nearby bazaar.

Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road)
Later, head to the busiest shopping street in Shanghai-Nanjing Road which is lined with name brand stores, both Chinese and International. Besides, you can visit restaurants, cafes, coffee/tea houses, and ice cream shops etc.

The Bund
Afterwards, head to the Bund, one of the most noted architectural symbols of Shanghai. You can have a beautiful view of European-style buildings and opposite skyscrapers across the river.

Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu)
After enjoying delicious Chinese lunch, go up the Oriental Pearl TV Tower until 259 meters to a glass-bottomed sightseeing floor to enjoy the overview of whole city and feel excited. It’s quite funny to watch travelers being very brave to walk on transparent glass. After visiting, you’ll be transferred to hotel.
