Day 1Guangzhou Arrival

Pick up your driver at Guangzhou airport or train station and transfer to your hotel in a comfortable private car. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is free to explore the city at your leisure!

Day 2Guangzhou

Attractions:Yuexiu Park,Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall,Beijing Road,Chen Clan Ancestral Hall,Temple of the Six Banyan Trees,Huacheng Square,Canton Tower,Cantonese lunch and dim sum

Hotel: Overnight in Guangzhou

After breakfast, your local guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. First, visit the must-see Chen Clan Ancestral Hall which is the ancestral hall of the Chen family and a famous treasure house of ancient architecture and art. Later, pay a short visit to the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees. The most famous attraction inside the temple is the Millennium Banyan Tree, which is one of the famous sights in Guangzhou. After that, have a break and enjoy the specially arranged Cantonese lunch and dim sum.Morning tea is usually served with freshly squeezed soymilk or tea, giving it a warm and cozy feeling.

After the historical and artistic exploration, be transferred to the urban central axis in Zhujiang New Town to see the modern cityscape of Guangzhou at Huacheng Square.It is the landmark venue for Guangzhou’s hosting of the Asian Games and a world-renowned architectural complex. Most importantly, appreciate the slim outline of the iconic Canton Tower on the opposite bank of Pearl River.

Afterwards, be transferred to Yuexiu Park. You can enjoy the beautiful lakes, flowers and trees here. The most famous attraction in the park is the Five Sheep Sculpture, which is one of the symbols of Guangzhou and is regarded as the city’s mascot. Then, move your steps to the nearby Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. It is a combination of Chinese and Western architecture, built in the 1930s, and is one of the landmarks of Guangzhou. The Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall contains a wealth of exhibitions showcasing Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s life story, revolutionary course and ideological achievements. It is also a venue for various important commemorative and cultural events.

The last stop is taking a simple walk along Beijing Road with hundreds of years’ history. This bustling commercial street is packed with shops, malls and restaurants and you can feel the prosperity of old Guangzhou by visiting some ancient sites and if you like, try some local snacks here.

 

Day 3Guangzhou-Zhuhai- Departure

After breakfast, your local guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Firstly, you will be driven to see Shamian Island you can enjoy the charming scenery along the river and visit various museums and cultural exhibition halls.Then, continue to visit Qingping Market. It is a market with a long history, rich in folk culture and Guangzhou specialties. Here, you can feel the strong atmosphere of the old Guangzhou market and taste the authentic Guangzhou snacks and specialty ingredients such as shark’s fin, bird’s nest and health products.

After that, have a break and glut yourself with the well prepared lunch with Cantonese Cuisines in one of the best reputed restaurants in Lychee Bay area.

Then, you will visit Xiguan Ancient Houses.It has preserved a large number of ancient buildings and traditional flavorful snack stores. You can stroll through the narrow lanes and alleys, admire the elegant traditional Guangzhou architecture, and savor authentic Guangzhou delicacies such as morning tea, boiled rice and sugar water.

 Furthermore, move your steps to Cantonese Opera Art Museum displays a wealth of Cantonese Opera artifacts and stage props, such as costumes, face paint and theater equipment. You can learn about the history, development and performance forms of Cantonese opera. After that, be transferred to the city center and take a simple walk along Beijing Road with hundreds of years’ history. This is one of the busiest shopping districts in Guangzhou with a variety of malls, department stores and brand name stores. Then, walk not far to Wenming Road. It is home to a variety of shopping malls, stores and restaurants offering all kinds of goods and food options. Wenming Road is popular among Guangzhou residents and tourists for its bustle and diversity. You can shop, dine and soak up the busy atmosphere of a modern city.

After the tour, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel or to the airport / train station to catch the flight / train to your next destination or home. Service ends!
