When spring comes, Wuyuan Huangling, known as one of the “four great seas of flowers in China”, will welcome a large number of tourists and photography enthusiasts to witness the vast sea of rapeseed flowers. And in autumn (October ~ November), Wuyuan turns into a colorful world. Locals dry crops such as corn and peppers on rooftops, creating a spectacular experience for visitors. And taking a stop at Jingdezhen where you will have the chance to experience most authentic porcelain history and culture.

    Day 1Jingdezhen arrival

    Hotel: Overnight in Jingdezhen

    Welcome to Jingdezhen! Upon arrival, be greeted by our local tour guide who is holding a sign with your name in the airport or railway Station. Then a comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with an experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel in Jingdezhen downtown. Your guide will help you check in. The rest of the day is on your own to discover this beautiful city.

    Day 2Jingdezhen - Wuyuan

    Attractions: Sanbao International Ceramic Art Village, Ancient Kiln Folklore Exhibition Area

    Hotel: Overnight in Wuyuan

    Treasure hunt at a local market and admire local ceramics university students’ creations of art.

    Take a walking tour of the Sanbao International Ceramic Art Village and visit the studios of reclusive artists.

    Explore the Ancient Kiln Folklore Exhibition Area to find out how the craftsmen make ceramics with techniques that have been inherited for 1,000 years.

    Get your hands dirty and create a piece of ceramic craftsperson-ship of your own.

    Day 3Wuyuan Departure

    Attractions: Xiaoqi, Likeng

    After breakfast, start to explore the highlights of Wuyuan with visiting its three most beautiful villages: Likeng, Xiaoqi.

    Xiaoqi: It is a village built in the Song Dynasty with ancient buildings of magnificence and precise craftsmanship. The beautiful landscape depicts the symbiosis of the people and nature.

    Likeng: Likeng is an ancient village where mainly live the families with the surname of Li. This village was famous as a birthplace of various ministers. From Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, there came out more than 100 ministers.

    After the tour, transfer to Wuyuan train station to catch your high speed train to next destination.
