Begin your tour of Chengdu with pickup from your centrally located hotel. Board a private vehicle and drive to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding on the outskirts of the city. Tour the panda conservation and research center with your guide to learn about this endangered species’ behavior and environmental needs. Your guide knows the best spots for viewing pandas away from the crowds. Then, continue to Wenshu Monastery, a Buddhist temple from the Tang Dynasty known for its artwork and relics. Tour the historical neighborhood and local market outside of the monastery, and stop for an authentic Sichuan-style lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit the People’s Park in central Chengdu. Relax in bamboo armchairs and sip jasmine tea like the locals while learning about day-to-day life in Chengdu. On your way out of the park, walk down Kuan-Zhai Lane, a street notable for its historic importance and contemporary charm. Return to your hotel or any other specified drop-off point at the end of your tour.

The tour starts with the pick-up service at 9:00 am by your local professional tour guide. Then you will enjoy a comfortable transfer by a private air-conditioned vehicle to the renowned Leshan Giant Buddha. It takes about 2 hours on the road. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch at well-selected local restaurant. Then walk into the park to visit the Buddha from a very close distance, listen to your guide’s narration to learn the long history and architectural artistry of the Giant Buddha, and be amazed by the this UNESCO listed World Heritage. If you want to see the panoramic view of the Buddha, you may take a boat at your own cost to have an alternative perspective, your guide will be happy to help. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to Chengdu and dropped off at the hotel.

Begin your tour of Chengdu with pickup from your centrally located hotel. Take a comfortable private vehicle to start the trip. Drive approx. 1.5 hour to visit Qingcheng Mountain. Upon arrival, you will take cable car up the mountain very quickly and hike up about 1 hour to the Summit of Mountain Qingcheng, where you will have a bird’s eye view of mountain, enjoy the beautiful nature, breathe the clear air with light sweat, discover its history and learn Taoism culture.

Later have a break and enjoy delicious lunch, move on to explore the only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world – Dujiangyan Irrigation System constructed 2,000 years ago. There you will discover how it was built and its great influence in irrigation works. After the trip, the guide will transfer you back and drop you off at the hotel.
