Day 1Xi’an Arrival

Attractions: The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Farmers' Caves, Xi'an Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter

Hotel: Overnight in Xi’an

You will arrive at Terracotta Warriors Museum. Your tour guide will take you through every important figures, horses or weapons. By examining the terracotta figures discovered here, you can imagine how Qin soldiers looked like 2000 years ago. From the horse cart and weapons displayed, you will have an idea how these soldiers used to fight. If you look closely enough, you will discover that each figure has different facial expressions, which is very astonishing considering how many figures are there. Then, you will know how great this work must be and why the Terracotta Warriors Museum is regarded as the eighth wonder in the world.

Visit a local family lives in Traditional Cave Dwelling. Your tour guide will introduce to you why people like to live here. Then, depart Terracotta Warriors and get back to the city. It takes about 50 minutes to get back to City from the Terracotta Warriors museum, during which time you can have a little rest and be prepared for the afternoon tour.

In the afternoon,you will get to the downtown to climb the Bell tower. It is a classical building with carved beams and painted rafters. It stands in the center of the downtown area where the north street , the South Street, the East Street and the West Street meet.It houses a huge bell which was originally used to strike time every morning in ancient time.

Finish your busy day by discovering Xian’s Muslim heritage,so you will stroll down Muslim Street, Xian’s street-food epicenter: sample Chinese Muslim food from lamb kebabs to noodles and pancakes, and watch the food which is cooked before your eyes.

Day 2Xi’an Departure

Attractions: Xi’an City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Show, Art Museum

First stop of today is xi’an City Wall .It is one of our most complete existing ancient city wall of China. When you reach to the top of wall, you can have a bird’s eyes view of ancient city . You even can ride the bike all the way around the wall.

Later on, you will see a special art museum .this museum houses a unique collection of local arts such like shadow puppets, paper cutting and mask making.Each part of the museum will be explained by the museum guide and then you will get to know the story behind the artworks, their hidden meaning and cultural allusions. You can learn and understand a lot about China through those artworks. The last part is really the highlight of the museum. You will sit down at table with ink and brushes and learn how to write the Chinese characters.

Lunch will be done on the intangible cultural gourmet street, where you can feast yourself on any kind of food . You can enjoy local Han people’s snackand food at the different small workshop. The dilemma will be in choosing.

Your afternoon tour will start with a visit to Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It’s locate inside the Da Ci En temple. It was built in Tang Dynasty to store all the Buddhism sutra and Buddhism figures that Xuan Zang has brought back from India. It’s the biggest and also the earliest square pagoda that has been built. Now, it has been remodeled and enlarged like a large park. In the sunny days, local people usually come here and relax themselves. If you come here at night, you will see local people dancing, singing, children running, fountain show performing, and various small stalls setting up for local snacks.

In the evening, you will have a night tour and go to the Nightless city of Great Tang. which is longest culture and commerical pedestrian street in the world.It is the perfect of interjunction for traditional culture and moden business and also is bussiness card of xi’an for the world. After this night tour, you will be sent back to hotel.
