Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)

This morning, your tour guide will pick up you at the hotel and take you to visit Tiananmen Square. You will see what the biggest urban city square in the world looks like.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

From Tiananmen Square, you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Here, you will not only learn how the emperor handled political affairs and lived their lives, but appreciate numerous ancient art treasures. At noon, an a la carte welcome lunch will be served at a superb local restaurant, where you can have a taste of authentic Chinese food.

Hutong Tour

Then a trip to the old Hutongs will conclude your day. Taking the local rickshaw and traveling along the narrow lanes, you will get a close touch with the original Beijing lifestyle and culture.

Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and start to explore the Panda hometown.Enjoy your interesting tour to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding which is a huge institution replicates the natural habitat of the giant panda. Sightseeing shuttle bus is included. You will learn the habits and characteristics of Giant and baby pandas, observe them eating bamboos and playing around. Lunch will be arranged as local food at restaurant nearby.

In the afternoon, visit Renmin Park and it is the paradise for local people who addict to dancing, playing mahjong, drinking teas. We will arrange tea break in the park and mahjong lesson if you are interested in. After that enjoy shopping time at Jinli Old Street which is the elegant style of the architectures tells you what Sichuan looks like during the Qing Dynasty.

Free day at leisure and be transferred to the airport for flight to Guilin Your Guilin tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Elephant Trunk Hill which is the badge of Guilin city. The whole hill looks exactly like a huge elephant stretching its trunk drinking water of the Li River. It is the masterpiece of karst landscape, composed of pure limestone deposited on seabed 360million years ago. You can climb up to the top and take full view of Guilin’s hills and rivers. Walking along the Li River and enjoy a short visit to Riyue Shuangta Cultural Park by walking around Shanhu Lake and viewing the Golden and Silver Twin Pagodas.

Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and get ready for today’s excursion to Longji Rice Terraces Drive about 2 hours to Longji. It’s a mountain road and you can warm up with a view of some small terraces outside your window. Upon arrival, transfer to the shuttle bus provided by the scenic area. Our guide will accompany you throughout the tour. The shuttle bus will stop at Huanglaoyao Village and you will have the opportunity to watch a long hair performance and folk dance in the village, but you can choose to pay your own way. From there, the hike begins to Ping’an Village, which is full of flagstone roads and paths. It takes about half an hour to climb the mountain, and the scenery along the way is breathtaking.

Continue hiking to Longji Zhuang Village via stone trail to Zhuang village about 2.5 hours. It is the classic hiking route in Longji terrace field, smoothly and leisurely. En route, you will appreciate the endless terrace field and gorgeous view on the mountain

After disembarking, stroll around the West Street which is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. It now becomes a place that mixes the eastern and western culture harmoniously. West Street in Yangshuo has developed into the most prosperous area in Yangshuo. Enjoy your free time there. Drive back to the Guilin through express way, while you will appreciate the Yangshuo ten-mile Gallery on the road

After that, explore Yu Garden. The symbol of the Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion. Around noon, an a la carte farewell lunch will be served to you at a very nice restaurant.

Huangpu River

Take a one-hour cruise along the Huangpu River – the mother river of Shanghai. As the symbol and a microcosm of the city, the river has witnessed the glory, humiliation, despair, and prosperity of Shanghai.

The Bund (Wai Tan)
