After breakfast, we shall visit Inner Mongolia Museum to visit China’s most authoritative northern nomads exhibition complex, walk into the ancient times, visit the world’s largest Cretaceous dinosaur fossils, mammoth fossils, etc., and learn about Mongolia historical process.

Afterwards, we will proceed to Huitengxile Grassland, which is one of the world’s three largest alpine meadow grasslands, also one of most well-protected alpine meadow flower grassland in the world. After arrival, local Mongolian people will give your most warm-hearted greetings with kumiss You can enjoy some horse riding there, visiting herdsmen’s homes to have a close understanding of lifestyles of herdsmen.  

After lunch, head to the Huanghuagou Park, known as the “Daqingshan Address Museum”, Here, we will do a little hike there to enjoy its beautiful sceneries. After dinner, join the bonfire party to enjoy a fun evening (if it rains, bonfire party will be cancelled), we will sleep in a yurt for this night. Watch the milky way on the grassland and enjoy the sunrise next morning.

After breakfast, we will visit the Wulanhada Volcano. Volcano Cluster of Wulanhada is the only one which once erupted in Holocene in the southern border of the Mongolian Plateau, is a natural “Volcano Museum”, and is a window to research the deeper structure and activity of the modern crust in this area. Take a light trek inside the park and drive back to Hohhot.

Hotel: Overnight in Baotou 

After breakfast, we will proceed to Resonant Bay (cable car included), known as “Disney in the Desert” and “Little Dubai of China”. Here you can take your time to explore this desert by purchasing a pacakge ticket( cost about CNY 220/Pax), those activities including sand sea yacht, rail bike, Polaris all-terrain vehicle, zip line, camel riding, performance of “Guolao Legend” at Guo Lao Theater, top of the sand (flying tower), Fairy roller coaster, hump roller coaster, fruit bug trolley (for children), bumper cars (for children), children’s amusement and other facilities. Then we will be ready to call it a day and drive to Baotou for overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will drive back to Hohhot to catch the train/flight back home. It shall be 2 hours driving from Baotou to Hohhot, so it is recommended to book a flight/train leaves round or after noon time.
