5-Day Inner Mongolia Tour of Xilamuren Grassland and Resnoant Bay in Desert Tour from Hohhot

Upon arrival at Hohhot Railway Station or Airport, our local driver will transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The rest time is free for you to explore Hohhot. (No tour guide serviced)

After breakfast, proceed to Xilamuren Grassland. Arrived at the herdsmen’s home and began to experience nomadic life. Sweep the sheep pen, learn to make milk tea, herd sheep and cattle, experience horseriding.

At night, sleep in a yurt under the starry sky on the grassland.

We will still have another half day to experience nomads’ life and horse riding till lunchtime. Then we will drive to the grassland resort to rest.

At night we shall have a bonfire party to memorize this wonderful evening.

After the tour finished, drive to Dalad Banner to stay overnight.

After breakfast, drive to Resonant Bay, one of China’s three major echoing sand mountains, the mysterious sand echoing phenomenon attracts tourists from home and abroad. Here we will ride the unique desert cable car cross the desert and experience camel riding and Mongolian National Art Troupe.

Later in the afternoon, we will drive back to Hohhot for an overnight stay.

Today, we will visit Mengliang Ethnic Customs Park and Inner Mongolia Museum before leaving Hohhot. Mengliang Ethnic Customs Park is a large-scale and unique Mongolian-Yuan cultural and tourist reception center in Inner Mongolia. 

The next stop would be the hometown of dinosaurs and Mongolian culture — Inner Mongolia Museum (free to visit for about 2 hours). Then we will drop you at the airport or train station for departure.
