Then your private driver will take you back to your hotel. You’ll start by visiting Hongcun Village, one of the most beautiful ancient villages in China, a fascinating 800-year-old Village. Hongcun, a mountain village deep in the southwestern Huangshan City, is home to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Here you can see the exquisite three-carved emblem, and the rippling water flowing in front of every house, while the white walls and black tiles, together with the Tall Horse’s head wall, and the continuous green hills behind the village are reflected in the calm water of the lake, what is presented in front of us is an intoxicating ink and wash painting. After that, you’ll be transferred to Tunxi Ancient Street, about an hour away. There, you can stroll leisurely among the ancient buildings. The street is 1500 meters long, 7 meters wide, lined with shops on both sides of the street, most of which are double-layer brick and wood structures.

Today you will spend a whole day on the Yellow Mountains. Your tour guide and driver will pick you up and drive to Huangshan Scenic Area which takes about one hour from central Huangshan City to the foot of the Yellow Mountains. Then you will take the Yungu Cable Car(云谷缆车) to up to the top of Huangshan mountain. You will visit White Goose Peak(白鹅岭) which is located in the most eastern Beihai scenic area, is the best place to view the Sea of clouds. And then head to Shixin Peak(始信峰) where you can admire many famous pine trees. After that, explore Dreamed Pen of Fine Essays(梦笔生花) which is also known as Pen Peak. Pen Peak stands alone among the peaks, its shape, round under the top tip, like a calligrapher’s bucket pen. At last, you’ll tour around the Beihai Scenic Area(北海景区) and enjoy the beautiful sunset. The Beihai scenic area is made up of peaks, rocks, terraces and Pines. The colorful glazed tiles form a series of beautiful natural paintings, which are the scenery windows of Huangshan City. Getting up early and head to The sunroof(光明顶) which is the second highest peak in Huangshan City, named for its open expanse and long daylight exposure. Climb to the top, not only can overlook the magnificent peaks around, but also can watch the breathtaking sunrise, overlooking the Sea of clouds, which will be an unforgettable experience for you. Then head to Xihai Grand Canyon(西海大峡谷), because the valley has Baiyun Creek, also known as “Baiyun Valley”. In the valley, looking around, you can see the high mountains, medium-high mountains and low mountains. They are well defined, magnificent, and amazing. Along the way, you can admire the Flying Stone(飞来石), is one of the landmarks of Huangshan, where the famed TV series”A Dream of Red Mansions” was shot. The Flying Stone looks like the huge stone which comes from the sky and falls on the cliff. If you are brave enough, you can try the Hundred-step Cloud Ladder(百步云梯) which is a steep staircase with more than 100 steps cut into the stone wall, often surrounded by clouds and fog. Then head to visit the Welcoming Pine(迎客松) which is an iconic sight in Huangshan. The tree is about 10 meters high and 0.64 meters in diameter at breast height. The tree is at least 800 years old, with one branch sticking out like a man’s arm to welcome visitors from afar. Your discovery trip of Huangshan will end with the Yuping Cable Car journey.
