The trip included many natural landscapes with characteristics of China such as:Mount Huangshan, which is known as the most beautiful mountain in China. Guilin, you may have heard of the saying “Guilin landscape is the most beautiful in the world, and Yangshuo landscape is the most beautiful in Guilin”, and during this trip, we were able to see the picturesque scenery. Being in it will give you a different feeling. Jiuzhaigou is like a wonderland on earth, enjoying beautiful forest and river. The beauty of the scenery here may make you feel unreal, but this is the real scenery that exists on the earth. Day 1Shanghai Arrival

Arrive in Shanghai, the modern city of China. Our English-speaking guide will be here to greet you and accompany you to our pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

 

Day 2Shanghai

Attractions: The Jade Buddha Temple, The Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Yuyuan Garden, The Bund

Hotel: Overnight in Shanghai

We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning at the specified time and start our day’s journey.
First stop, visit The Jade Buddha Temple, famous for its seated Buddha encrusted with precious stones. At the second stop, we will choose the most suitable location for you to enjoy the overall appearance of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower while strolling along the Bingjiang Avenue of the riverfront promenade.
You are free to choose a local restaurant with special characteristics and enjoy your lunch.
Third stop, visit Yuyuan Garden, a classical Chinese garden in the heart of the city, and shop on Shanghai Old Street and Nanjing Road, the first commercial street in Shanghai. Fourth stop, The Bund. You can take a leisurely walk along the Bund.
After finishing, we will return to the hotel and on the way you can plan to watch one of the most popular night entertainment in Shanghai.

Day 3Shanghai-Huangshan

Attractions: Chengkan ancient village, Tunxi Old Street

After getting up in the morning. We will take you to the second stop of your trip – Huangshan Mountain. Upon arrival, you will be guided by a local guide. Because of the tight schedule of the trip, we will have lunch at the train station.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Chengkan ancient village , which is a typical example of the perfect combination of beautiful natural scenery and Huizhou culture and art. You taste the local snacks in the village. The most famous snack here is sesame tofu.

After touring the ancient town, we will drive back to Huangshan City and check in. Afterwards we will go to Tunxi Old Street, where you are free to enjoy your time. If you want to have something to eat, the snacks here are also famous.

Day 4Huangshan

Attractions: Lion Peak, Shixin Peak, The West Sea Grand Canyon

Hotel: Overnight in Huangshan

Full day tour of Huangshan Mountain, one of the top ten scenic spots in China and the first mountain in the world. We will take the cable car up the mountain to the West Sea Hotel on the mountain. After getting off the cable car, we will hike for about half an hour to reach the hotel. On the way, you can also see the famous to Lion Peak and Shixin Peak.

After arriving at the hotel, we will check in and have lunch at the hotel’s restaurant. Since there are only few restaurants on the mountain, the most suitable dining option is at the hotel.

After your lunch break, we will start our hike at The West Sea Grand Canyon. The Xihai Grand Canyon is the highlight of the Yellow River Scenic Area. It is a circular hiking trail and at the end of the hike, we will be done for the day and will bring you to the hotel so you can rest.

Day 5Huangshan-Hangzhou

On this morning, you are encouraged to get up early and go to Danxia Peak or nearby peaks to see the sunrise and sea of clouds. This is subject to weather. Try your luck! If you are lucky enough, you may see a colorful sea of clouds. After viewing, you can return to the hotel for a short rest, after which we will take the cable car down the mountain.

Due to the rush of the trip, we will arrange lunch at a local restaurant in the old town, after that, we will go to Huangshan Railway Station.

Then we will drive for three hours to Hangzhou. At that time our local Hangzhou guide will be waiting for you at the train station and will escort you to your hotel.

Day 6Hangzhou

Attractions: The West Lake,Lingyin Temple, Six Harmonies Pagoda, Chinese Tea Museum, Hefang Street

We will pick you up at your hotel at the specified time.

Then we will start our trip for that day. First we will show you The West Lake. We have arranged a boat tour for you to visit the West Lake, and we also strongly recommend you to walk around the West Lake. Experience a different kind of Hangzhou life. After that, we will visit Lingyin Temple, which is not only a Buddhist temple, but also a place to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

At noon, you are free to choose a local restaurant to enjoy your lunch.

After lunch, we will visit the Six Harmonies Pagoda with a view of the Qiantang River and the ethereal horizon in the distance. Afterwards, we will visit the Chinese Tea Museum, where you can get up close to the history of Chinese tea and learn about the tea production process. Finally we will go to the local shopping street, Hefang Street, which is the most prosperous place in Hangzhou since ancient times. You can buy some local snacks as well as souvenirs here.

Return to the hotel and on the way, you can arrange a night activity or watch the West Lake Impressions show if you are interested.

Day 7Hangzhou-Guilin

Attractions: Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave

The rest time of this morning is free and you can do everything what you want to do or you can just have a great rest to get prepare for this afternoon’s tour.

Then make a visit to the symbol of Guilin landscape – Elephant Trunk Hill. A giant rock hill vividly shapes like an elephant which is drinking water.

Then, drive about 7 kilometers to next attraction – Reed Flute Cave, a majestic underground palace with sparkling different colors. The magical Mother Nature condenses millions years of natural efforts to form the incredible stalactite, stalagmite, stone shield and stone waterfall of different sizes and shapes.

Day 8Guilin

Attractions: Longji Rice Terrace, Huangluo Yao Village, Ping’an, Seven Stars with Moon, Nine Dragons and Five Tigers

Hotel: Overnight in Longji Rice Terrace

In this early morning, you’ll be driven about 150 kilometers to witness one of the most beautiful rice terraces in China – Longji Rice Terrace, an amazing feat of farm engineering rising up to 1000m high in Longsheng County. There are several featured Zhuang and Yao minority villages along the road and you’ll take a visit to the special Huangluo Yao Village, the First Village of Long Hair in the World, where you can see women in red ethnic clothes with very long hairs .
Later, continue your drive to a beautiful 600-year-old Zhuang Village – Ping’an and check in your hotel located near the rice terraces.

After some rest, start to explore the breathtaking views. From Ping’an, you can hike on the cobbled paths built among terraces to catch the best landscape. Climb up to the great lookouts at Seven Stars with Moon and Nine Dragons and Five Tigers from which you can get superlative views of terraces and villages.

Day 9Guilin

Attractions: Li River, Yangshuo

We will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time and take you to the pier to start exploring the Li River by boat.

Enjoy the Li River cruise and have lunch on board. We will arrange a luxury cruise with good facilities and services. Cruise along the winding river towards Yangshuo.

After disembarking from the boat, you can stroll through West Street, the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of over 1400 years. It has now become a harmonious mix of Eastern and Western cultures.

You can then return to the hotel to rest. In the evening we don’t have an itinerary, however, we suggest you to take a walk around the four lakes or take a night tour on the city waterway. It will give you a different experience.

Day 10Guilin-Chengdu

In the morning, we have no schedule, you can rest at the hotel, and when it is almost time, we will transfer you to Guilin airport for your flight to Chengdu. Today is free. After that, you will be flying to Chengdu.

Day 10Chengdu

Attractions: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Jinli street, City’s Renmin Park, Jinli Old Street

A full day sightseeing begins with the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. This facility is not only the most important panda scientific research center in the world, but also the home for more than 100 Giant Pandas.

Chengdu is famous throughout China for its relaxing and leisurely pace and lifestyle, which will be demonstrated by a visit to the City’s Renmin Park.Next will be an impressive visit to the famous Jinli Old Street. Time will steal away as you quietly walk on the lively streets full of delicious local snacks, delicate artifacts, interesting folk shows, and other activities.

Finally, take a walk along Jinli Street. Jinli Old Street is right next door to the Marquis Shrine. It has become a major tourist attraction in Chengdu, attracting large numbers of visitors every year, with its ancient architecture, traditional culture, local food and customs.

Day 12Chengdu - Jiuzahigou Valley

Attractions: Huanglong National Park

Hotel: Overnight in Jiuzahigou Valley

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Jiuzhaigou.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant near Chuanshuang Temple. After lunch, we will visit Huanglong National Park, a World Natural Heritage Site famous for its colorful ponds, snow-capped mountains, deep valleys and dense forests. We recommend you to hike in the mountains to explore the true beauty of Huanglong National Park. There is also a cable car service, so you can enjoy a relaxing trip to the top of the mountain at your own expense.

Drive to your hotel in Jiuzhaigou, about 1.5 hours. Rest and prepare for tomorrow’s excursion to Jiuzhaigou.

Day 13Jiuzahigou Valley

Attractions: Jiuzahigou Valley

We will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time.
Full day tour of Jiuzhaigou accompanied by your guide. Take a shuttle bus from Lantian Station to Long Lake, then walk to enjoy Long Lake and Wucai Pond. After that, take a shuttle bus from Wucai Pond to Norilang Waterfall.
Lunch time will be served at a restaurant in the park.
In the afternoon, continue hiking and hiking to visit Norilang Waterfall, then take a shuttle bus from Norilang to Shuzheng Lake, along the way you will enjoy Rhino Lake, Tiger Lake, Shuzheng Waterfall and Princess Lake. Then walk to enjoy Shuzheng Lake and Shuzheng Valley, take the shuttle bus from Shuzheng Lake to Shuanglong Lake and visit Shuanglong Waterfall.
Finally return to Lantian Station by shuttle bus, visiting Reed Lake, Bonsai Beach and Mirror Cliff along the way. Rest in the hotel.

Day 14Jiuzhaigou Valley - Xi’an

On this day, we will transfer you directly to Jiuzhaigou airport for your flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival, you will be met by your Xi’an tour guide and after lunch, we will take you to visit the Xi’an City Wall, which is one of the oldest and best preserved city walls in China.

We will arrange bicycle or sightseeing bus to go around the city wall. Afterwards visit The Big Wild Goose Pagoda where you will have the opportunity to watch the fountain show in the North Square. Drive back to your hotel and the rest of the day is free for you to make your own arrangements.

Day 15Xi'an-Zhangjiajie

Attractions: Terracotta Warriors and Horses,The Clock Tower

Hotel: Overnight in Xi’an

Drive about 40km to discover one of the greatest man-made wonders in the world – the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, built by the first emperor of China Qin Shihuang to protect him in his afterlife. The Terracotta Army covers an enormous area and contains three pits, which you may not have enough time to complete.But standing in front of these figures, one can’t help being amazed by the fabulous artistic skills of ancient Chinese artisans.

At noon, you are free to eat at a nearby restaurant of your choice.

In the afternoon, visit The Clock Tower, which is the largest in structure and shape and the best preserved clock tower in China. Continue to visit the Muslim Quarter, that is the place to enjoy your shopping time there.

After that, we will transfer you to the airport for your evening flight to Zhangjiajie. Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide and transferred to accompany you to your hotel for check-in.

Day 16Zhangjiajie

Attractions: The Bailong Elevator, Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain

We will be waiting for you at the hotel lobby at the agreed time.

Take the shuttle bus directly to the world’s highest and heaviest outdoor elevator, the Bailong Elevator. Take The Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie scenic spot. The scenery of Yuanjiajie is exactly the same as what we saw in the movie Avatar. Standing on the viewing platform of Yuanjiajie, you can see thousands of peaks at the same time. But they make one enter a world of imagination and present a vivid picture in front of our eyes. You will enjoy two hours of exploring on foot.

A simple Chinese lunch will be arranged at the restaurant in Yuanjiajie rest area.

From Yuanjiajie, board a shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area and spend the whole afternoon in the scenic area. The landscape varies from season to season and changes throughout the day, making Tianzi Mountain a very interesting destination.

Take the cable car down to Tianzi Mountain and return to the hotel. In the evening, there is a folklore show “Magical Xiangxi” for your enjoyment.

Day 17Zhangjiajie- Beijing

Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby at the specified time and take you to visit Tianmen Mountain, the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie.

We will take a cable car up to Tianmen Mountain. The cable car has a running time of 40 minutes and is the longest line in Asia. After that there will be a hiking trail.

Lunch will be arranged on Tianmen Mountain and after lunch, we will take the cable car down the mountain.

Change to a shuttle bus and arrive at the Tianmen Cave site via the Tongtian Avenue, which has 99 curves, symbolizing that the sky has nine palaces. Upon arrival, visit Tianmen Cave. Tianmen Cave is the highest natural penetrating karst cave in the world. It is actually a big cave on the mountain and there will be 999 steps before entering the cave.

After the tour, go directly to Zhangjiajie Airport and take a flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, a local guide from Beijing will pick you up at the airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 18Beijing

Attractions: Mutianyu Great Wall,The temple of heaven

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time, and then we will start our tour of the Great Wall.

First visit The Temple of Heaven, which was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1998. The Temple of Heaven is the largest surviving structure in China for worshipping the heavens and was used by emperors throughout the ages to pray for a good harvest. Local residents almost always do their morning exercises in the square with high spirits. You will have the opportunity to see China’s Confucius, Taijiquan, square dance and more and learn about the true folk masters there.

Next, visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, a less crowded but well-preserved section of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty. You will take a cable car ride up the Great Wall and then hike to the most beautiful and interesting places in Mutianyu.

Day 19Beijing-Departure

Attractions: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City

Today, we embark on our journey of exploration of Beijing from Tnanmen Square. Tiananmen Square is now the largest city square in the world.

Passing through Tiananmen Square, you can see the five most important palaces in the world, the Forbidden City. It was the residence of the Ming and Qing emperors and represented the supreme power of ancient China.

After that, we will escort you to the airport to catch the train that will transfer you to your home or your next destination.
