Set out with a professional guide and your own Tuk-tuk driver to find the best of Xi ‘an cuisine. Explore the hidden streets and quaint alleys within the city walls of Xi ‘an, where you can visit the most popular local restaurants. Itinerary:
In the morning, your professional guide will meet you at the hotel lobby, and then a comfortable and spacious car will transport you to the Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses. During the one-hour tour, your professional guide will give you background information on the wonders of the world you will be exploring. Follow your guide to the pit where three unearthed terracotta figures, horses and chariots total more than 8,000 pieces, followed by the bronze chariot exhibition hall. You will have at least two and a half hours to explore this important site.
Drive back to the city center and continue your tour of the Small Goose Pagoda, built during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Peaceful surroundings and ancient pagodas will bring you peace of mind.
Later, your guide will take you to the ancient City Wall. With a history of more than 600 years, it is the most complete existing wall in China. Take a leisurely stroll on the ramparts and feel the past meet the present in this vibrant and culturally brilliant city. If you are good at cycling, you can rent a bike to ride on the wall. It should be an exciting and memorable experience. The bicycle rental is at your own expense.
